When we acquired DAXI, we wanted to invest financially and personally in an industry that reflected our values. We’re convinced that rail is the most beneficial mode of transport in terms of:
- The economy because it provides jobs that can’t be relocated and transports goods over long distances competitively.
- Safety because it’s the best way of transporting heavy or hazardous materials, decreases road traffic and is much less hazardous than road transport.

DAXI has been a preferred partner of national railway companies, private terminal operators (ports, industries, mines, intermodal hubs) and tracklayers for 30 years. Our offices and workshops are based in Charleroi, Belgium, and Faulquemont in France’s Grand Est region. Our rail projects transport goods and passengers in Europe and in regions across the world, particularly in Africa.
